Our Location

Ensemble Theatre is located in Kirribilli, 3 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of North Sydney Council. Kirribilli is a harbourside suburb, sitting on the Lower North Shore of Sydney Harbour.

You can reach Kirribilli by car, train, bus or ferry and the Ensemble Theatre is located only a short distance from all public transport options. The best place to research your public transport options is the bus, train and ferry infoline on 131 500 or map your route on their website www.131500.com.au.

If you elect to come by car, parking is available in the streets surrounding the theatre and is time restricted from 1/2 an hour up to 4 hours depending on location. There are also some unrestricted carparking spots, so keep an eye out for them! Parking can be problematic so please leave enough time to locate a parking spot appropriate to the running time of the production you are seeing. The area is frequently monitored by parking rangers and whilst The Ensemble Theatre sympathises if you receive a fine, we are unable to take responsibility for your choice of parking.

The Locale

Kirribilli is a a picturesque suburb and apart from constant and beautiful glimpses of Sydney harbour, also boasts a large number of historic sites that make walking in the area ideal in all seasons. In springtime, the Jacaranda trees in bloom create a lavendar corridor along McDougall Street and is a popular stop on Sydney's Jacaranda tours. All the more reason to come and see us!
