The theatre is located in Kirribilli on Sydney's North Shore, approximately 10 minutes drive from the CBD.

Public Transport

By rail — The closest train station is Milsons Point Station. From there it is a 10 minute walk down Willoughby Street to the theatre.

By ferry — Sydney Ferries services are the ideal way to visit Ensemble Theatre. From Circular Quay the closest ferry stops are High Street (North Sydney) and Kirribilli (Holbrook Ave) Wharfs, each about a 10-15 minute harbourside walk. Water taxis are available seven days and nights a week from all harbourside locations and can drop you at the pontoon adjacent to the Ensemble Theatre called Careening Cove. All credit cards are accepted onboard including Cabcharge. Tel: 9555 8888.

Driving Instructions

Driving over the bridge, take the North Sydney exit and turn right onto High Street. Follow High Street until you come to the lights at Clarke Road, turn right at the lights and left at the next roundabout. Driving from the North Shore take the expressway and follow the signs to North Sydney/Neutral Bay. This will bring you to the roundabout at High Street. Turn left at the roundabout and follow the High Street to Clarke Road, then as above.

Parking

Parking is on street and time restricted. Two to four hour parking restrictions apply on surrounding streets until 10pm. Parking is available at Milsons Point train station on Ennis Road. Pay by the hour during the day but free after 6pm, there is plenty of parking available at night and just a short walk down the hill to the theatre. There is no on-site parking. The Ensemble Theatre recommends taking public transport where possible.
