TREEHOUSE THEATRE presents
TREE OF LIFE: Journey Through The Eyes of Refugee Children
In this remarkable performance, a group of young refugees present their own stories, stories of childhood fun, of tragedy, of trauma and of recovery. Their series of short performance pieces bring the refugee experience to life, allowing the
audience a rare glimpse of what it really means to be a refugee. Laugh, cry and never be the same again!
After sellout performances in 2011 and 2012, this year’s production will be showing in four performances at Ensemble Theatre.
Directed and produced by Ruth Hartcher-O’Brien and Catherine Maguire-Donvito, the TREE OF LIFE performance is the culmination of drama therapy and story-telling workshops over four months.
"I was so powerfully moved by your production....The portrayal of the personal stories and journeys of our young and brilliant students was truly inspiring!" Stephanie Lyons, Drama Teacher, Liverpool Girls HS
